We have worked with Eden’s Forest for a number of years in transforming Jerry Clay Academy’s Outdoor Learning offer.  In the first instant, Eden’s Forest worked alongside the whole community to transform our over-grown and under-used ‘pond area’, making it a valuable space for learning to happen.  Following on from this, Eden’s Forest worked closely with staff to instil confidence in delivering meaningful lessons outdoors.  Since then, we have provided opportunities for our children which have broadened their knowledge within their current theme, in line with the National Curriculum.  Our children and staff really appreciate these days which are made up of bushcraft skills, team-building exercises and risk-taking skills; it really has a direct impact on the teaching at our school!
Mr Tony Palin - Assistant Headteacher - Jerry Clay Academy

We love being in our woods but we also have extensive experience in delivering programmes of work, from a single day to a series of structured lessons, within school grounds.

We can plan outdoor learning around a diverse range of themes, such as refugees, creative writing, hunter gatherers, vikings and space exploration. We will share with you the planning for all sessions we provide, highlighting support for the National Curriculum as well as outlining any extension activities as required.

We also offer further services including site development and targeted intervention.

Full day for £600

Half day for £300
